1174399716THE XHOUSE |
At the height of his acting career X decided to leave his works and to build a house for his family.
X House is a two-story building, in the shelter of Hollywood wildlife park and hills. The ground floor is divided in three connecting rooms with living room, kitchen, dining room and the kids’ bedrooms. The structure of the first floor is divided in three equal sections, a rehearsal room, a swimming pool and the master bedroom. The first floor is coated with weathering steels, which allows the light to shine through tiny holes by the hallways. |

1194095437HOLLYWOOD HOLOGRAM HOUSING |
The iconic Hollywood sign is an important symbol of the Los angels, eliciting a great deal of attention. We try to come up with new ideas to build iconic housing. Since the site locate at the higher elevations and everyone knows the location, the housing
at Hollywood Hills will become automatic control housing. The housing combines two theories with practice, and the automatic control housing play a significant role not only in managing other apartment houses, constructed by column, slab, glass and wall of organic carbon materials, but also in presenting transformed houses. In addition, the sign use hologram technology in order to enables far-reaching users to recognize them. This hologram allows people to perceive their home which has been changing, wherever you want to see it and whenever you want to see it. In this regard, the hologram housing is an iconic symbol of Hollywood. |

1912553061LA.XXI |
LA.XXI is a futuristic residential single family concept which defies the traditional approach of walls with rectangular frames. As well as creating a fresh mentality, LA.XXI also provides solutions for todays and forecasted major future events, most notably; global warming and scarce resources, visual pollution due to increased urban population and upcoming 3rd industrial revolution with 3D printing.
In response to the project's location, climate and culture, LA.XXI has been given a character of mixed natural and architectural elements in a contemporary way. It blends with the surrounding while retaining its easy to remember iconic outline, which derives from the Hollywood sign and the antenna itself. |

12133269603 FOR 1 : POWER TOWER |
Amongst the throes of our feverish search for quick fixes to climate change let’s not overlook the most elementary aspect of building sustainably: the size of the spaces that we design. “THREE for ONE” pairs this concept of living “small” with innovations in vertical transportation to create an energy generator with all the comforts of a modern living. A single “Box” one-third the size of Hollywood homes nearby THREE for ONE posits a simple thesis: if the space we occupy is smaller: the energy we consume and the environmental impact we have will be less.

1266506595FUTURE IN THE PAST |
Our proposal seeks to integrate aspects of history of man and as a result, serves as a beacon of nostalgia exemplifying the origins of historical stages. Our house respects the patterns of social interaction. Where it emphasizes the importance of privacy- as the most important role of a house- it also addresses a gathering place where the individuality fades and plurality emerges. This meeting place helps to create a sign under the sign. Its shape and materiality try to synthesize the former familiar experiences and the exotic notions of the future.

1301907295THE LAST OF THE FIRST |
The Last of the First Residence proposes a montage of program to create a home that reconfigures to the immediate needs of the resident while providing a space that is adaptable and customizable. Our proposal integrates an interior kinetic volume—a rotating platform, that contains the circulation and specialized functions (kitchen, study, bedroom, washroom) of the unit. The dynamic rotation creates the possibility for unconventional programmatic combinations to align with the ideal living conditions (view, access to sunlight, ventilation, and openness). Our design liberates its user from the constraints of static architecture, eliminating sequential circulation, fixed program, and a definite perception of space.

1312806896HOUSE 026.5 |
HOUSE 026.5 presumes a new future for domesticity- one that blurs physical and digital existence. New construction techniques allow for the creation of forms that represent the fluidity and connectivity 21st century humans experience daily. These interchangeable, moldable forms of additive material contrast the rigidity of the steel structure - a physical manifestation of conventionality. This house is merely one iteration of the countless possibilities allowed within this deployable system that explores the pursuit of equality as it relates to the preservation of diversity within a framework of existing systems augmented by emerging technologies.

1364457081LANDhouse |
Every house has a story, this is the story of the LAND house. Grounded in the history and culture of the site, this is not the last house on Mulholland, but perhaps the first. I can remember when the sign read HOLLYWOODLAND, announcing the arrival of the neighbourhood, and the exile of the last four letters. I took it upon myself to resurrect these letters, and allow them to accomplish their fundamental purpose. The letters once again glow among the flashing of signal towers and warmth of homes. I find solace, retreating into LAND, and excitement in wandering its eminence.

1497914456THE MOTION HOUSE |
The Motion House’s design is perceived as a silver screen of the ground that takes its cue from the Hollywood’s motion picture. The design emphasizes the idea of movement, speed, timing, surprises and shock through appropriate adaptation of technology. Mechanically controlled by 4 hydraulic lifts, the inner core of the house in glass and steel will rise above ground and fall to sleeping mood according to the house owner’s preference on privacy, view, climate, security and safety. With its ‘hide and seek” nature, the periscope like house will serve as a living organism and fun loving entertainer that aims to challenge the conventional notion of the house design and complement the iconic Hollywood sign, its film industry and neighbourhood.

1744542193HOLLYWOOD |
“This house is a house of a person that lives his life on his own. He is not in need of a lover. He is utterly obsessed with the way he thinks and lives. He is obviously heart broken. The city of LA was his last choice in life. He fabricated every single entity to matches his needs. It might not be how everyone feels. Probably it is only how he feels, but this house is unadulterated.”
