Socrati Seretis is a Senior Design Associate with Peddle Thorp Architects and has vast experience in the UK and the Middle East, where he’s worked on some of PTA’s most innovative and inspired designs.
He believes Architecture is generated by the needs of people. ‘Physically and spiritually, architecture responds to its physical context and the culture and climate of place. Our design philosophy seeks to embrace a total and didactic experience from both within and outside the building…’
Of late his focus has shifted to the emerging markets in main land China. Here Peddle Thorp is reinventing the way visitors experience a Mega Aquarium in a shopping or leisure environment. Blending the concept of edutainment and the belief that great architecture comes from a holistic approach to the synthesis of the elements that comprise and inform the character of a building.
Socrati will be judging in tandem with James Hampton, together Socrati and James will represent the aquarium design team of Peddle Thorp Architects.
