Are the structural shells associated with the competition proven to be hurricane resilient? The shells associated with the SHELTER competition are three of the nearly infinite configurations that can be constructed using the prefabricated system created by Deltec Homes. Circular designs assure that hurricane strength winds don’t build up enough pressure on any side of a home to cause catastrophic structural failures. Combined with a systematic approach to hurricane resistance including a radial support system and superior materials, Deltec's homes can withstand the strongest hurricanes. Deltec Homes are located all around the world and have been being built for over 50 years. Please contact [email protected] with additional questions. |
